The Owls duo warmly welcomed over 90 children from primary schools across Sheffield to Hillsborough for an important workshop delivered by the anti-racism charity.
After giving the kids a tour of Hillsborough, Palmer and Assistant Coach Powell paid them a surprise visit. Powell worked with the kids to create anti-hate crime banners.
The two also discussed their personal encounters with racism, its detrimental effects on society, and the urgency of eliminating it completely.
Community Coach Brett Pitcher of SWFCCP stated: “Seeing Chris and Liam support the event was fantastic.
“Educating kids early on is essential to creating a future that is more resilient and inclusive.”
