Officers investigating an attempted burglary at the home of a 102-year-old released an identify image’

The 102-year-old victim’s home in Sheffield was the target of an attempted burglary, and the investigating police have published an e-fit image of a guy they would want to identify.

According to reports, two males posing as maintenance workers entered the home of a 102-year-old man in the Fox Hill neighbourhood on January 17, 2024, around 1pm, claiming they had to make repairs. When another guest arrived at the address, the two men were startled and departed the residence empty-handed.

Since the incident was reported, officers have carried out extensive CCTV and area searches and have now produced an e-fit image of a man we would like to trace.

The man we would like to speak to is described as white, with blonde hair, of slim build, around 5ft 7in tall and is believed to be in his early 40s. He is reported to have been wearing a dark coloured hoodie and light coloured jeans.
