Sheffield Wednesday boss Danny Rohl is set to meet with owner Dejphon Chansiri in the coming weeks.

Sheffield Wednesday have a lot on their plate right now.

Although general concerns about the future remain, the Championship’s current four-game losing streak has reignited fears of relegation to League One.

Sheffield Wednesday supporters continue to publicly despise Chansiri.

Sheffield Wednesday could fall apart over the summer due to Chansiri’s poor leadership, as the 1867 Group remains active.

There’s up to 18 players poised to leave Hillsborough this summer, maybe along with Rohl who has interest from Sunderland.

Should the Black Cats sign Rohl, he might even bring the Sheffield Wednesday backroom squad to Sunderland this summer.

Chansiri is still a fugitive

All in all, this is a topic for the upcoming weeks. Of course, I’ll meet him, and after that, we’ll sit down. My list is divided into sections. It has to do with how we can get better at football. What the squad can do and what we need for this. What needs to be done in order to obtain updates regarding the players and facilities. This is what’s on my mind. But the most important thing, in my opinion, is that we must accomplish our objectives.

When asked if Rohl intended to provide Chansiri a lengthy list of enhancements, he responded as follows:

This is not a little matter, in my opinion. However, you must also look, and I see that you are unable to complete everything right now.

Dejphon Chansiri struggles at Sheffield Wednesday

Since then, Chansiri has learned that dumping money on the team—or rather, the players—won’t improve Sheffield Wednesday.

And now it appears that he needs to spend money on other projects, sustainably of course, like the Hillsborough pitch, which has drawn criticism recently, the Middlewood training facility, and the locker rooms, as Rohl claims.

If Chansiri is unable to guarantee any of these enhancements, Rohl will undoubtedly depart.

There is a hint of Darren Moore meeting with Chansiri before to this season in Rohl’s meeting with him at the end of the season.

Fans will be afraid of a recurrence of the meeting, which naturally resulted in Moore quitting the team. Additionally, Rohl’s resignation would undoubtedly set off a chain reaction of following departures from the coaching and playing staff.

Chansiri has a lot of work ahead of him, but it’s unclear if he has the necessary resources.

However, as Rohl points out, the primary goal is to beat the drop.
