Paul Hurst, the manager of Shrewsbury Town, wants midfielder Nohan Kenneh to stick to his skills and play a basic game.
The midfield player joined the team on a season-long loan from Hibernian and has made 26 appearances so far this season, the most of which were under the direction of former manager Matt Taylor.
But in three of the five games Hurst has managed since taking over, Kenneh has not been included on the matchday roster.
Which, in my opinion—which I won’t refute—is his greatest strength. I’ve kind of told him that: don’t feel bad about it because, although it might be a small thing and not something that people will truly appreciate, it is crucial to a team.

Tunmise Sobowale, who participated in and performed well at Derby, was replaced by him when he returned to the team, but he has not appeared since.
Three players are being left out of the squad each week, and for the first time this season, there is serious contention for spots within the Town manager’s team.
Hurst also gave an explanation of why he decided to start Kenneh over Sobowale in the Latics game.
“He was involved on Saturday because I thought we might need extra legs in there,” the man stated.
