Shrewsbury’s survival chances given huge boost with exciting news from the club

The last three games were definitely pivotal for the season, as I had predicted.

They have, in my opinion, put Shrewsbury in a position where, short of a total meltdown and other teams finding their form, it should see them through to safety. Due in large part to the final week, they will accumulate more points this season and compete in League One the following year.

It has been constructive, particularly in light of the Exeter loss, which raised expectations for the Carlisle game.

After Jordan Shipley’s red card, which appears to be somewhat inconclusive based on the video you saw, the match against the Grecians was called off.

With Ryan Woods, it appeared to be nearly a 50/50 situation, and regrettably, Shipley was the one given the cold shoulder.

The referee felt he made the right call from up close, but there is no definitive angle. After that, the game went south, and Paul Hurst benched important players to keep them safe knowing that the opportunity to win had vanished.
