A collision on a major Lincolnshire route claimed the life of a pensioner. Early on Wednesday, September 18, police were summoned to the Gunby roundabout between Skegness and Spilsby.
The crash that caused the road to close for several hours is said to have involved just one car, a Citroen Picasso.
Just after 3 p.m., Lincolnshire Police released an update confirming the death of the man in his 70s who was driving the Citroen.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses or dashcam footage of the incident, which was first reported at 4.38am, to assist with their investigation.
