A man has died after a collision between a car and a motorcycle in Somerset.
About 9:30 BST, police and paramedics were dispatched to the A38 Taunton Road in Bridgwater. At the site, the motorcyclist passed away.
The route from the Huntworth Business Park roundabout to the Showground route/Stockmoor Drive roundabout was blocked by officers for a while, but it has since reopened.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson stated, “The man’s next of kin has been informed and our condolences and thoughts are with them at this time.”
“A family liaison officer with specialised training is offering them help.
“We would like to thank motorists for their patience and understanding while we carried out enquiries,” said a spokesperson.
