Fraser massage to Southampton about Eddie Howe following exit….

Although Fraser has been having a great season with Southampton in the Championship, there have always been lingering doubts about the true nature of the incident involving Howe and Fraser at Newcastle.

The winger recently stated in an interview with Southampton that he will “always cherish” the time he spent with his former boss and that he still had a great deal of respect for him.

Fraser claims that animosity towards Howe has now surfaced.

Fraser was playing regularly for Newcastle under Howe, and everything looked to be going well until one day he was sent to the Under-21s and would never play for the team again.

The media has all expressed opinions on what transpired between the two, but Fraser maintains that only they and no one else really know the truth—that everyone has merely speculated.

Though he was sad with how things had ended at the club, the 29-year-old was all love for his former manager, saying that he had been “unbelievable” for his career.

Despite the rumours at the time, everything appears to be friendly from the outside. However, it does make you question whether things had taken a personal turn after falling out at both Bournemouth and Newcastle.

Fraser stated in the interview: “A lot of people just jump to things – they believe what they want to believe, because everyone’s got an opinion. Then obviously with the Eddie thing at the end, the media don’t know what’s happened so they couldn’t come out and say what’s happened. It was just that I was down in the Under-21s.”

He was fantastic for me. While I feel bad that it’s over, I feel that I did good for him and that I learnt from him. I will always treasure the years we spent together.

Fraser is doing well outside of Newcastle.

Fraser appears to be enjoying football once more and is making a big impression away from the Premier League team as he has established himself as Russell Martin’s first choice for Southampton.

After going 21 games without losing, the Saints broke a club record with the help of the winger, who has scored seven goals in 25 outings this season.

Strangely enough, Newcastle is currently quite thin in strikers, and Fraser might have even been used as a fallback for Miguel Almiron, who is starting every game right now.

However, following his ordeal with Howe, neither of them could turn back, and his prospects for a future with Newcastle were lost.
