Police treating next-of-kin appeal as a matter of urgency after St Helens man dies

On Wednesday, August 7, Merseyside Police sent out an appeal to try and trace the family of a man from St Helens after he passed away.

Officers explained that John Glover, aged 73 years, of Fleet Lane in St Helens, died on August 6 2024.

There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

As no information has been forthcoming, officers have again announced an appeal to identify John’s family members or next-of-kin, and are now treating it as a matter of urgency.

The coroner’s courts would also like to contact the family to discuss the circumstances of his death.

John may have family links in the Eccleston area of St Helens.
