Police have closed a road in Stockport following a crash outside a pub.
The incident took place near The Church Inn on Ravenoak Road earlier today (August 17). Eyewitnesses have reported seeing an air ambulance land nearby on the road between Cheadle Hulme and Bramhall where a police cordon remains in place at the roundabout.
Two ambulances were still at the scene at around 5.30pm but have since left. Eight police vehicles are still at the scene in Stockport.
The collision took place outside The Church Inn pub this afternoon (August 17), according to eyewitnesses. An air ambulance which landed nearby has since left, but it is not clear whether anyone was taken in the helicopter or in the other ambulances at the scene.
As of right now, Ravenoak Road is closed where it meets Church Road and Ack Lane West. An eyewitness claims that although drivers may still use the nearby roads to go between Cheadle Hulme and Bramhall, police are allowing some cars to leave the barrier.
