Police and CSI descend on park after body of man discovered in Stockport

The body of a man has been found in a park in Stockport.

The tragic discovery was made yesterday morning (September 26) in Woodbank Park. Police officers and paramedics were called to the scene.

Crime scene investigations were pictured within an area of the park with a cordon put in place at one of the entrances. No further details on the man’s identity has been released at this stage

circumstances at this time’. In a statement, the GMP spokesperson said: “At around 10am yesterday morning (September 26) officers responded to reports of a body being located in Woodbank Park, Stockport.

“Officers attended with colleagues from the ambulance service and sadly located the body of a man. There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances at this time.”
