Two cars collided, closing a major road and transit route.
Following this afternoon’s collision between the Mazda and Audi, police have closed New Church Road in Hove.
After the collision that caused the red Mazda’s bonnet to crumple, the airbags sprang into action. The collision also caused damage to the car’s driver’s side body.

Traffic is being diverted via Portland Road or the A259 Kingsway, with 1, 1A and 6 buses affected by the incident.
The Argus has approached Sussex Police for comment.
