A motorcyclist has died following a two-vehicle crash in a north Suffolk village.
Monday at 9.55 a.m., police were summoned to the B1118 in Hoxne, close to Eye, in response to reports of a significant two-vehicle collision.
A red Volkswagen T-Roc and a silver Kawasaki motorcycle were involved in the incident, according to a Suffolk police spokeswoman.
A critical care team from the Suffolk Accident Rescue Service was called in addition to the ambulance and fire departments.
The man, who appeared to be in his 30s, who was riding the motorbike, was declared deceased on the spot.
After being closed for a few hours, the road is now open again.
The Joint Norfolk & Suffolk Serious Collision Investigation Unit is requesting that anyone who was driving in the vicinity or who saw the collision get in touch with them, citing reference number 37/8803/24.
