Olivia Attwood, who appeared on Love Island in 2017, is among the most successful of the past cast members. More recently, she has been leveraging her position to front documentaries about various topics, including internet trolling, cosmetic surgery, and the sex industry.
Always truthful and frequently humble Olivia spoke with us in advance of her upcoming documentary, The Price of Perfection, and shared her thoughts on Bradley Dack, her husband of seven months, and his “divisive” comments on large breasts.
I’ve only ever had one medical procedure done, so I obviously know what a boob job is like, but it’s still kind of weird to see someone else undergo the same procedure you’ve had. Strangely, I found that watching the video again was more difficult than actually being there because it was so amazing to witness in person. We were in disbelief that we had obtained such access. In this documentary, I really wanted to emphasise that, even though breast augmentations can be simple procedures, they are nonetheless serious surgeries. As a general anaesthetic is administered, your body is being cut open. I hope it causes viewers to pause and think more carefully before choosing to finish their task, especially young women.
Since I still have breast implants and am delighted with them, it wouldn’t imply that I regret getting them.
I simply believe that I ought to have stopped and took a deep breath at that moment. They didn’t have to be that large, but I could have finished them sooner. I paid about £4,000 for the first one and more than £12,000 for my rectification. It’s crucial to keep in mind that fixing something that goes wrong will cost twice as much.
Bradley remarks in the documentary that he wouldn’t have looked at you twice if you hadn’t had such large breasts. Did you find that surprising?
Since we always communicate honestly and openly with one another, I thought it was sort of amazing that he was so forthright. He was stating, “What turned my head was the way you look,” not, “I wouldn’t love you if you had smaller boobs.” I thought it was good that he was so open. But I have a suspicion that his remark would split the audience!
Over the past few years, I’ve started exercising and making healthy eating a priority, and as simple as it may seem, it has significantly improved my mood. I just mean having that mind-body connection; I don’t mean working out like a slave.I believe that your body gives you gratitude when you take good care of it.
