1 dead, 2 injured in Sussex County motorcycle crash

South Jersey’s Montague Township (Sussex County) According to Sergeant Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police,

a motorcycle crash in Sussex County on Sunday morning resulted in one fatality and two injuries.

According to Lebron, the collision occurred on County Route 650 eastbound in Montague Township at approximately 10:20 a.m.


A Mercedes-Benz and a Kawasaki motorbike driven by Sung Yi, 56, of Parsippany-Troy Hills, were going east on

County Route 650 when they collided at the junction of County Route 675, according to a preliminary police investigation, Lebron said.

As a result of the crash, Yi sustained fatal injuries, Lebron said.

The driver and passenger of the Mercedes-Benz sustained minor injuries, Lebron said.

The crash remains under investigation.
