Following a collision on the A27 in Fishbourne on Sunday night, a man has passed away. Two cars were involved in the collision, which occurred at 630 p.m.
A portion of the heavily travelled A-road was blocked in both directions by Sussex Police so that forensic examinations could be conducted. The aforementioned closures were maintained during the Monday morning rush hour.
“A man has tragically died in a two-car collision which happened on the A27 at Fishbourne around 6.30pm last night,” a Sussex Police spokesperson said early on Monday morning. To facilitate recovery efforts and forensics enquiries, a portion of the road was blocked in both directions for the duration of the night.”
They went on: “We value your patience and understanding, as we only have one chance to accomplish this. The westbound carriageway is scheduled to reopen very soon, and the eastbound carriageway will reopen very soon.
