London Road Croydon stabbing: Two men taken to hospital
Just before 5:10 p.m. on March 18, police were called to London Road in reference to a stabbing.
Two men were discovered, one with a head injury (aged 29) and the other with a knife wound (aged 21).
Their ailments were not life-threatening when they were transferred to a hospital in south London.
After the incident, a 29-year-old male was taken into custody on suspicion of affray.
Police are still looking into the events.
“Police were called at 5.08pm on Monday, March 18 to reports of a stabbing at London Road, Croydon,” a Metropolitan Police spokesperson stated. London Ambulance Service [LAS] and officers were present.
“A 21-year-old guy with knife wounds was discovered at the location. Another male, 29, was discovered with a head wound.
“They were both brought to hospitals in south London, where there was no danger to their lives.
“A 29-year-old male was taken into custody for possible affray.
