A busy A-road in Nottinghamshire was blocked in both directions due to a crash this afternoon (Wednesday July 24). The A38 Kings Mill Road East was blocked between B6022 Station Road and B6021 in Sutton-in-Ashfield as a Woman died on the scene of the accident.
The collision involved two vehicles and was causing queues in the area at around 2pm, traffic monitoring site Inrix said. Live Google traffic maps showed significant congestion on the A38, which links the M1 to Sutton-in-Ashfield and Mansfield.
Inrix stated: “Inrix A38 Kings Mill Road East in both directions blocked, queueing traffic due to accident, two vehicles involved from B6022 Station Road to B6021.” The incident had cleared by around 3.30pm.
