Teenager arrested in Sutton in Ashfield over claim he made threat to kill someone

Nottinghamshire Police are now looking to speak to witnesses about the incident

According to accounts, a woman had been threatened, leading to the arrest of an adolescent. At approximately 6:50 p.m. on Tuesday, January 23, Nottinghamshire Police officers were called to a youth club hosted by the local government at Quarrydale Academy, which is located on Stoneyford Road in Sutton-in-Ashfield.

The event led to the arrest of a 16-year-old kid. After the victim broke up an argument between some youths, she was verbally abused and intimidated.

No one was hurt in the incident, according to Nottinghamshire Police Inspector Dale Smith, and the child was taken into custody shortly after on suspicion of making death threats. Anyone with information on the incident who hasn’t previously spoken to an officer is still welcome to contact us.
