Two men have been jailed for 14 months for having a cannabis farm

Two men have been jailed for 14 months for having a cannabis farm in Sutton Bridge.

After a police search on February 21, 423 cannabis plants were found at the Allenbys Chase location.

Denis Xibraku, 24, of Stubbs Drive in London, and Halil Gopani, 34, of no fixed address, both appeared in Lincoln Corn Court yesterday, March 25, and entered pleas of guilty to the production of a class B substance.

“They were arrested after officers gathered intelligence indicating criminal activity was taking place at a premises in the village on Allenbys Chase,” a Lincolnshire Police spokesman said.

After obtaining a warrant, members of our neighbourhood policing team examined the premises and discovered about 423 cannabis plants.

“Experts dismantled the cannabis plants and more evidence was gathered to secure a conviction,” a scene guard was set up.
