Tributes have been paid to a “wonderful, funny, amazing” man who died in a crash involving a car and a tractor.
Andrew Gooch, 53, was driving a red Vauxhall Zafira when it was involved in a collision with a JCB tractor on the A1075, near Stow Bedon, on March 9.
An inquest into his death opened this week at Norfolk Coroner’s Court. It was told that Mr Gooch was a father-of-three who worked as a plasterer and lived in Swaffham.
At the hearing, Jaqueline Lake, the senior coroner, said his official cause of death had been multiple trauma from a road traffic collision.
The crash happened just before 7am and Mr Gooch, who was born in Southend, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A police investigation is still underway after a man in his 20s was taken into custody on suspicion of killing someone via reckless driving.
On April 12, Mr. Gooch’s funeral took place at Breckland Crematorium, and his family posted memories of him on Facebook.
His brother Tony Gooch wrote in a post that “Andy will live on through his beautiful children,” while his wife Kelly Gooch called him a “wonderful, funny, amazing man.”
