Sally Blundell died on December 1 last year at the East of England Co-op funeral directors in Swaffham after she was crushed to death. She was 58.
An inquest into her death opened in January and was adjourned so further investigations into the accident could be held.
Nine months on from the tragedy, it has been confirmed these investigations are still ongoing, ahead of a full inquest which will likely be held next year.
During a short review hearing, senior coroner Jacqueline Lake confirmed that the case was not yet ready to be heard, due to the ongoing probe.
It is understood the incident involved a hoist at the branch in Market Place in the town – which remained closed for a number of days afterwards.
Following her death, East of England Co-op paid tribute to Mrs Blundell, who worked for the organisation for almost a decade, with a spokesman saying she would be “truly missed”.
Mrs Lake adjourned the case until a further review hearing, which will be held on November 15.
