Road closed as man dies in fatal crash in Swaffham

Emergency services were called at 1.20pm today after a car veered off the A47 at Wendling and crashed into a hedge.

Police, fire and ambulance crews attended the scene and the road between Scarning and Wendling was closed.

A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service confirmed that the driver of the car, an adult male, died at the scene.

The Police has urge the road users intending to ply the route at the moment to use ulternative routes as the road is temporary closed at the moment.
