breaking; Swansea City confirm shock decision to head coach”

Ceri Phillips, the head coach of Swansea City’s first squad, has left the organization.

In August 2022, just before the Swans’ away Champions League matches in Greece, Phillips assumed the position.

Last year, he led the team to a second-place finish in the Adran Premier, but he also had early cup exits, including a loss at home to Llandudno of the Adran North.

Phillips and his Swansea team have won three games so far this season: Barry Town United, Wrexham, and most recently, Cardiff Met. Swansea was fourth in the Adran Premier at the time of his departure.

Swansea City Women released the following statement: “By mutual accord, Ceri Phillips has resigned as head coach.

The club would like to thank Ceri and Harry for their efforts while in charge and state that assistant coach Harry Thomas has also left.
