Confusion Over Swindon Town Midfielder future Dicision.

During the summer transfer window, Swindon Town made a swift move to sign the offensive midfielder on loan from MK Dons, a League Two team.

With the Robins, Kemp, 24, has been a big success. In 18 games across all competitions, he has contributed 11 goals and 5 assists.

But going into January, things at the County Ground are uncertain regarding his position. According to a story from the Swindon Advertiser, he has given this update: “It is a really difficult situation because all I can focus on is the here and now and that is all my focus is every day.” Although I have no control over the circumstances, I firmly believe that I am dedicated to the club.

“I am loving my time here, and I am fully committed here.” That is true—true from the bottom of my heart. It is a matter of continuing to do what I am doing and maintaining concentration on our objective and our goals.

“I have no control over anything external, but I’ll handle it when it arises.”

Ace for Swindon Town uncertain about future
Kemp’s departure this winter would be devastating for Swindon, particularly if he were to rejoin MK Dons, a league rival.

In the standings, the Robins are just one spot ahead of the Dons. This weekend, Michael Flynn’s team will return to action as they travel to Harrogate Town on the road. They are now four points out of the playoff picture and will be looking to get back from their previous 4-2 home loss to Stockport County.

They made a brilliant business move by signing Kemp, and they would be far lower in the league without him.

Since joining his parent club in January 2022, he has failed to leave his mark at Stadium MK.

The former England youth international scored nine goals while on loan at Hartlepool United during the second part of the previous season. The Pools were relegated to the National League, but the player still made an impression on the team.

Despite not knowing if he would still be with the Wiltshire team after January, Kemp has maintained his form at Swindon and stated he is still totally devoted to them.
