Hereford agreed Swindon Town midfielder deal

Dylan Mitchell, a midfielder for Swindon Town, has signed a one-month loan to Hereford FC of the National League North.
After leaving Aston Villa and making an impression on trial, Mitchell joined Swindon in the summer. Since then, he has played for the first team, appearing against Crawley Town, Walsall, and Crewe Alexandra.

He is going on loan to get additional experience, though, as he hasn’t been included in a squad for a league game since Port Vale in September.
Last season, Mitchell played on loan for Alvechurch in the Southern League Premier Division Central. Now, he joins Hereford, who are vying for the playoffs, in the sixth division.

“Dylan is a player who excelled at step 3 last season and was deservedly rewarded with a move to the EFL with Swindon Town,” Caddis stated in the announcement of his new acquisition.

“Dylan will be a good alternative for us in the middle areas. He is a dynamic central midfielder with discipline both in and out of possession.

“I want to express my gratitude to Swindon Town for their invaluable assistance in closing the acquisition. For the foreseeable future, I’m incredibly excited to see Dylan in and around our surroundings.
