Following a tragic medical event in Swindon, a man has passed away.
At about 7 p.m. yesterday (March 7), emergency services were summoned to Carpenters Lane, which is located off Chapel Street in Gorse Hill.
When a guy in his 60s was discovered to be unconscious, local police and the ambulance service responded immediately (999).
Two ambulance crews, a paramedic officer, and critical care medics from Wiltshire Air Ambulance fought to save the man’s life.
About an hour later, he was declared dead despite their best attempts. He was then transported by land ambulance to the hospital.
While the incident was going on, Wiltshire Police roped off the area to keep the public from visiting it.
The police stated that they don’t think the death’s circumstances are suspicious.
