The 31-year-old leaves One Call Stadium with the club’s very best wishes following a four-year stay which ended with promotion to League One last month.
He made 152 appearances for the Stags, scoring 15 goals.
Manager Nigel Clough said: “Ollie been magnificent for the club for the past four years.
“We had recently activated Ollie’s contract option when we received an unexpected inquiry from Swindon. Ollie wanted to take advantage of the opportunity because it would allow him to return home. All things considered, it’s a personal choice and an opportunity to play more football because he is expecting a child.
He has led admirably both on and off the field. He was a major presence in the locker room and on the pitch even without the armband the previous season.
We congratulate Ollie and send her our best wishes as she leaves the club. He has provided the club with excellent service.
