Swindon Town boss Michael Flynn has pulled the club out of the battle to sign Bradford City striker Jake Young.
Young would spend the first half on loan with Swindon, playing 25 matches in League Two and netting 16 times. Adding a further four assists to that tally, the forward would be directly involved in 43% of the club’s goals so far this season.
Flynn’s team will undoubtedly suffer in the second half of the season with the loss of the 22-year-old and MK Dons loanee Dan Kemp, who scored 14 more goals for the team. It might be a difficult few months for the Robins now that they are without their two main sources of inspiration and goals.

In spite of those remarks, a lot of rumours regarding the striker’s future have surfaced in recent days. With Exeter City and Port Vale in League One also vying for the striker’s services, there’s a growing chance that Young will depart Valley Parade in January.
Swindon Town is one team that has been eliminated from the hunt for the striker. Despite many special moments for the Robins, it is thought that Bradford’s asking price for Young is too high for the team, and the striker will not be coming back.

The second half of the season will be very different for the Robins, and they might really find it difficult to score goals during that time.
Regarding Young’s future, Flynn stated that he appeared destined for League One, if not the Championship. The 21-year-old’s current situation should be watched by all of the teams in the top half of League One, as his many goals could aid in a push for promotion. Regarding Young’s future, there will be more discussions because he is one of the
