Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce has nothing but respect and admiration for Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield.
Kelce revealed as much on Sunday after Mayfield put on a show in the Pro Bowl Games.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Baker Mayfield Dominate in Pro Bowl
competition, even if in the actual game the AFC outscored their side.
However, the NFC was able to win handily, winning 64–59, because they dominated the skills competition. In the Pro Bowl Games, Mayfield won the Precision Passer Award.
Defensive MVP went to linebacker Demario Davis of the New Orleans Saints for his performance on defence.
Playing in his first Pro Bowl, Mayfield is undoubtedly really honoured. In addition, he was brought in to take Dak Prescott’s spot.
Mayfield ultimately demonstrated that he is a star and one of the league’s best players.
Jason Kelce Showers Baker Mayfield With Love
Not only did Jason Kelce contribute significantly to the NFC’s Pro Bowl victory, but he also expressed his admiration for Baker Mayfield’s efforts during the competition, the 2023 season, and his career.
After Mayfield struggled in his early career after being selected first overall by the Cleveland Browns in 2018, many were quick to declare him a bust. He never truly flourished, despite spells with the Los Angeles Rams and Carolina Panthers.
On the plus side, though, he had success with the Buccaneers. Without a question, Mayfield’s season was the best of his career in terms of numbers and achievements. His 4044 yards and 28 touchdowns on a 64.3 percent completion percentage propelled Tampa Bay to the playoff divisional round.
Nobody anticipated that the Buccaneers, with Mayfield as a bridge quarterback, would contend right away. He is now anticipated to be the team’s quarterback.
Kelce is incredibly proud of Mayfield after that.
