Will Magnay of the Tasmania JackJumpers has pleaded guilty early and agreed to pay a fine for playing too rough after he got into a fight with Rob Edwards of the Cairns Taipans on Friday night. The contact was rated as intentional, low impact, and high by the NBL Game Review Panel, which also recommended a fine or one-game suspension.
Magnay will continue to play in the game against the Perth Wildcats tomorrow despite expressing regret for the incident.
Mika Vukona, GM of Basketball Operations, said, “Will acknowledges the outcome and regrets the incident. We support his decision to move forward positively.”
