Ahead of their Week 9 matchup on Thursday night, the Tennessee Titans and Pittsburgh Steelers revealed their second injury report of the week. However, it should be noted that both teams’ reports were estimated as neither team had a full practice.
Running back Tyjae Spears went from limited to full practice, while cornerback Anthony Kendall went from none at all to full. These two Titans witnessed an increase in participation on Monday.
Everyone else on the injury report, excluding those two, participated at the same level as they did on Monday, with the exception of cornerback Roger McCreary, whose situation is still uncertain. However, head coach Mike Vrabel did mention that the cornerback had an opportunity to play.
Chris Hubbard, the right tackle, and Ryan Tannehill, the quarterback, skipped another session.
Tannehill isn’t anticipated to play, thus Will Levis, a rookie quarterback, will start again. Hubbard is also a long shot because it will be difficult for him to come out of the concussion protocol in only one short week.
On Tuesday, the involvement of three Steelers players increased, but quarterback Kenny Pickett was not one of them. But earlier in the day, the youthful quarterback declared, “I’m playing for sure.”
Here are the complete injury reports for both teams; an asterisk indicates an improved level of play.
