Whats your opinion on the Blue Jays on the rot

Teams that are not in the playoffs usually don’t make headlines during the playoffs. Any team that releases news that could hinder the playoffs is frowned upon by MLB. It’s not impossible that the Jays wouldn’t provide us with anything to discuss in any case.

I suppose it’s news when the Gold Glove finalists are revealed. Two Jays have been “nominated,” which in this context refers to ranking among the top three vote-getters.

One of the three centre fielders is Daulton Varsho; the other two are Jarren Duran, the Red Sox, Jake Meyers, and the Astros. Daulton had to prevail.

One of the three third basemen is Ernie Clement. The Astros’ Alex Bergman and the Guardians’ Jose Ramirez are the other two.

But allow me to pose a query:

Which Blue Jays player did you have the highest expectations for but who fell short of your standards?

There are a lot of directions you could take with this, but for now, Travis Snider is my recommendation. Our best prospect, Snider, showed up and wasn’t too bad. In 2008, he made his debut and hit in 24 games at the age of just 20.301/.338/.466.

He hit.241/.328/.419 in 77 games the following year at the age of 21, which wasn’t too bad for a twenty-one-year-old. In 82 games in 2010, he hit.255,.304, and.463.

Certain things eluded my comprehension. On a team that would end up finishing 11 games out of first place, he was a top prospect. Why couldn’t we play with him all the time? Even at 22, he still had a.767 OPS. Why not give him a daily game?

He only made 49 games for us in 2011. After just ten games, on July 30, 2012, he was traded to the Pirates.

In any case, he played 311 games and hit.244/.314/.388 during his three seasons in Pittsburgh. He also played for the Orioles for a season.

I felt that he was somewhat mishandled. A twenty-one-year-old man should be put in the lineup and left there if you are bringing him up. However, the Jays were terrible at starting young players in the lineup and had a lot of other problems at the time. Instead, they would much rather use the Kevin Menchs, Brad Wilkersons, and Kevin Millars of the world. You must play a guy who comes up at 20–21.

Alright, now it’s your turn. Please provide us with your choice and the reasoning behind it; you do not need to write 400 words.
