“In the following day”..Tottenham wants to finalise another “top-level” deal right now, following Timo Werner.

Fabrizio Romano claims that Tottenham Hotspur are hoping to wrap up a deal for Genoa’s Radu Dragusin ‘in the next day’.

It follows yesterday’s revelation that Tottenham is nearing an agreement to recruit Timo Werner from RB Leipzig on a loan.

Over the past week, Spurs’ interest in Radu Dragusin has been widely reported, as the North Londoners are eager to acquire a new centre defender.

There have been rumours circulating that Tottenham is trying to finish negotiations with Genoa so they can sign Dragusin this weekend.

The Romanian defender is a target for Napoli as well, and they are presently vying with Spurs for his services.

However, it appears that Tottenham is eager to finalise a deal for Dragusin “in the next day” after they and Leipzig came to a complete understanding yesterday to sign Werner on loan.

Spurs want the Dragusin deal completed “the next day.”
On Saturday night, Romano stated on the Here We Go podcast that Tottenham is attempting to finalise a deal to sign Dragusin “as soon as possible.”

The transfer insider predicted that “they will be busy next week.” “Even now, and based on what I’ve been told tomorrow, Tottenham will be in contact with Genoa center-back Radu Dragusin.”

“The negotiation is unquestionably underway, but there will be additional discussions as they talk about the deal’s framework. Tottenham has always remained in the race, despite the numerous tales about Napoli that have surfaced in recent days. Tottenham has always been in charge of this transaction.

And as I’ve said before, Tottenham is working on this agreement to close it within the next day.

“Accordingly, talks for Dragusin are still ongoing, and Tottenham’s primary goal is to acquire a new centre back and provide Dragusin to Ange Postecoglou as soon as possible.”

It was widely anticipated that Spurs would complete negotiations for a new striker before adding a center-back.

Since suffering a hamstring injury in November, Micky van de Ven has missed nine league games, demonstrating their troubles at the position over the past few weeks.

After being included in the matchday squad for Spurs’ 1-0 victory over Burnley on Friday, the Dutchman is getting closer to making a comeback to the starting lineup.

However, Cristian Romero is also now sidelined due to a hamstring injury, therefore Tottenham needs to get a center-back as soon as feasible.

Dragusin’s ability to develop into a “top-level” centre back has been praised. The 21-year-old defender left Juventus and has since flourished at Genoa.

It will be interesting to follow the progress of this agreement in the days ahead, as Ange Postecoglou

will surely be eager to see reinforcements arrive before Spurs’ Sunday matchup against Manchester United.
