Emergency services rushed to the crash on the A326 in Totton, Hampshire, at around 6.15am. Three vehicles, including a black Honda motorcycle and a white Yamaha motorcycle, were involved in the smash on the bypass
The drivers of both the motorcycles, a 38-year-old man from Gosport, Hampshire, and a 49-year-old man from nearby Southampton, died at the scene.
According to Hampshire Live, their next of kin have been notified and are currently receiving assistance from specialized officials.
Officers are starting to look into the specifics of the event, therefore they have closed off both lanes of the A326.
Diversions are in place through Marchwood, a village along the River Test which meets the Solent
Nearby Noadswood School put a message out to students and parents asking them to delay their arrival until 9am as staff were stuck in the resulting delays.
According to a Hampshire Police spokeswoman, “We are eager to speak with anyone who may have witnessed what transpired or who saw the three cars driving in the area before the collision at that time.”
