On Thursday morning, shortly after 7 a.m., the body of a 36-year-old man was discovered in Popes Lane, Totton, prompting the call of emergency services.
Police and paramedics arrived, but it was discovered that the man had passed away there.
According to Hampshire Constabulary, there is no reason to suspect his death.
“We were called to Popes Lane at 7.07 this morning following the discovery of a man’s body,” a police spokesperson stated.
Sadly, a 36-year-old male was pronounced dead at the site. Specialised officers have been notified and are providing help to his next of kin.
“A file is being prepared for the coroner, and his death is not being investigated as suspicious.”
According to one witness, there were two police cars, an ambulance, and a police officer stationed in Popes Lane.
