Emergency services continue to descend on Testwood Lakes after body found

Nine police cars were seen at the nature reserve as emergency services descended on Testwood Lakes in Calmore last night. Reports of a police presence initially began to come in just after 8pm. A man’s body was discovered.

This morning, the police verified that a man’s body had been discovered, which is tragic news.

An officer from the force told the Echo, “On Monday, June 24, at 7:46 p.m., officers were summoned after a man’s body was discovered in the water at Testwood Lakes.

“His family has been made aware.

“The death is being treated a non suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.”

Our correspondent on the spot was recently informed by a truck driver who was overnight parked on nearby Brunel Road that, at one point, nine police cars and two ambulances were on the scene.
At Testwood Lakes, the light is going out but there’s still a lot going on, with paramedics and police officers congregating in the parking lot.
A van, an ambulance, four police cars, and other officers are still present at the area.
An eyewitness reported seeing eight police cars, along with an ambulance and a paramedic car.
