A man and a woman have been arrested and charged in connection with a serious assault in Totton.
A 32-year-old man was taken to Tatchbury Mount Hospital for treatment after police arrived to the scene on Tuesday morning.
The incident took place in the Brokenford Avenue area of Totton at around 1.40am on Saturday, June 1.
A 42-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman are due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court today (Monday, June 3).
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.40am on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 officers received a report of a serious assault in the Totton Brokenford Avenue. A 32-year-old man was taken to Tatchbury Mount Hospital for treatment.
“A 42-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman were arrested and charged in connection with the incident. They are due to appear at The Royal Court of Justice on Monday, June 3, 2024. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
