Officers were called at 7.46pm last night after the body of a man was found in the water at Testwood Lakes.
His family have been informed.
The death is being treated as non suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
Emergency services descended upon the nature reserve, blocking access from the Brunel Road entrance.
At one time, nine police cars and two ambulances were at the scene.police have further confirmed that all is under control at the moment as they have identified both the dead body and his family.
