A man from Christchurch died in a crash in the early hours today (Friday) which closed a busy Forest route.
The A326 at Totton was shut in both directions between the A35 and Fletchwood Road after the collision between a lorry and a silver Peugeot 107 at the junction with after 3am.
Despite efforts from the emergency services, the driver of the car, a 51-year-old man from Christchurch, was pronounced dead at the scene.
