Just after 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, the 74-year-old woman was involved in a collision with a car at Haydock Close in Calmore, Totton.
She was taken to the hospital after the accident with critical injuries, but she has since passed away.
Witnesses to the Volkswagen Tiguan collision are being sought after by the police.
A spokesperson stated: “Officers are making enquiries into the exact circumstances of the collision and are keen to speak with any further witnesses they have not already spoken to.”Perhaps you were there, or your automobile has a dash cam that records even when it is parked.”
