‘Agreement’ – transfer update , Fulham, lead Man Utd, and Liverpool, Arsenal’

Fulham are set to cause a major splash in the transfer market. Fluminense midfielder Andre has been linked with the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool – but the Cottagers look set to fend off the lot of them in their pursuit of the 22-year-old.

According to talkSPORT, Andre is expected to join Fulham ‘next year’ and that there is also an agreement in place ‘in principle’ between the Cottagers and Fluminense regarding Andre. As things stand, it will cost Fulham £20 million to bring him on board.

Andre has stated that he would like to play in the Premier League at some point in his career. He has previously praised Manchester City, calling them “the best team in the world,” but it appears Fulham is his next destination. Following Fluminense’s 2-0 triumph over Egyptian team Al Ahly – for which Andre was named man of the match – he might face City in the Club World Cup soon.

What will Andre bring to Fulham?

Andre has an impressive skill level for a player his age. He’s not a goal scorer or particularly creative, but his work rate and defensive talents are exceptional. He is also a versatile player, capable of playing in both central and defensive midfield. Should Joao Palhinha leave Craven Cottage soon, having been linked with clubs such as Bayern Munich and Manchester City, Andre would be a great replacement.

Andre told talkSPORT: “I watch the Premier League and it’s a big dream of mine to play there.” I’m focused on finishing the season with Fluminense and fulfilling our Club World Cup dream. But my fantasy is clear, to be a Premier League player.”
