Two more roads in the Whitton and Castle Hill area have been declared.
For two weeks, starting on Monday, July 29, and ending on Friday, August 9, Elmcroft Road and Dryden Road will be closed to facilitate significant gas repairs.
Cadent will be the one doing the work.
Residents’ and pedestrians’ access will be preserved, according to a Cadent spokesman.
Shakespeare Road in the vicinity will also be closed for more than three weeks, from Monday, July 22 to Wednesday, August 14, in addition to the other two closures.
Meanwhile, from Monday, July 22 to Friday, August 2, a portion of Spenser Road—between Shakespeare Road and Goldsmith Road—will be closed.
Although residents’ access will be preserved, these roads will close as well so that Cadent can perform necessary repairs.
