Blackburn Rovers favorite player discussions with new club over potential move confirm details

John Eustace, the manager of Blackburn Rovers, has stated that Kyle McFadzean will negotiate with a new team.
The defender’s contract at Blackburn Rovers is set to expire this month. Rovers have till the window closes to wrap up any remaining business.

McFadzean, 37, sees his contract expire in the summer and has made only three appearances this season. He has been on the radar of Chesterfield but a deal with the League Two side hasn’t been struck.

In this latest update regarding his situation at Ewood Park, Eustace has said, as per a report by the Lancashire Telegraph: “So he’ll be talking to that (different) club I think today or tomorrow. So yeah, there will be some small outgoings. I’m not sure (loan or permanent) that will be between the two clubs.

“He’s a fantastic professional. Most importantly, he’s a fantastic person. It was very important that we re-signed him in the summer.”

Blackburn Rovers defender Kyle McFadzean in talks with new club

Having participated in more than 600 games over his career, McFadzean brings experience to the Blackburn Rovers team.

Having him around the dressing room will be beneficial.

He is surplus to requirements and no longer receives game time.

Allowing the veteran to leave will help them make room in their ranks and save money for new hires.

McFadzean joined in January and was given a one-year contract last summer. “I’m ecstatic and I couldn’t wait to get the pen and sign,” he said on their website at the time. Being back out there with the guys has been pleasant, and I’ve received a warm welcome.

I knew where I wanted to return to, even though it was intermittent. I wanted to be back here with this club and the coach, even if I had other options. For me, that was the most important thing. Although it took some time, everything is now complete, and I am eager to begin the process anew.

The Sheffield native has formerly played for Coventry City, Burton Albion, MK Dons, Crawley Town, and Sheffield United.

What now for Kyle McFadzean at Blackburn Rovers?

It appears a switch to Chesterfield is on ice which has allowed a new unnamed club to swoop in.

Blackburn Rovers lost 1-0 away at Oxford United last time out and will be eager to bounce back.
