As they get ready for their second block of preseason training following the Christmas break, the Canterbury Bulldogs have confirmed the departure of eight players.
Josh Addo-Carr, Joash Papalii, Jordan Samrani, Kitione Kautoga (Parramatta Eels), Hayze Perham (Brisbane Broncos), Jeral Skelton (Wests Tigers), Chris Patolo (Manly Sea Eagles), and Poasa Faamausili (retired) have already left, but two more will follow.
Forward Liam Knight and centre Eli Clark are among the players who have said goodbye.

The decision to bid the players farewell comes as Sitili Tupouniua, Tom Amone, Enari Tuala, and Marcelo Montoya arrive for the upcoming campaign.
It is said that once Clark was informed that the club no longer needed him because they had too many outside backs in their roster, many NRL teams immediately showed interest in him.
He will verify his new club in the coming weeks
Knight has played primarily in the NSW Cup competition for the Canterbury Bulldogs for the past two seasons after failing to establish himself in the first-grade squad and secure a position in the forward pack.
His time at the club is gone, and he still doesn’t have a team for the upcoming campaign after being consistently passed over in favour of younger players like Kurtis Morrin, Bailey Hayward, Lipoi Hopoi, and Harry Hayes.
The South Sydney Rabbitohs were reportedly considering pursuing him, but the August speculations have since died down. He had previously been connected to the Super League team Leeds Rhinos.
