Castleford Tigers coach Craig Lingard sign in new stars

The recruiting campaign for the CASTLEFORD TIGERS is still ongoing, according to head coach Craig Lingard.

The Tigers have added Tex Hoy as a free agent, Sam Eseh on a two-week loan from Wigan Warriors, and Louis Senior and Corey Hall from Hull KR on season-long loans in the last week.

Jack Broadbent, meantime, has joined Hull KR after leaving The Jungle.

Even with all of this activity and the depth that Lingard’s team now possesses, the former Batley Bulldogs manager has acknowledged that the Tigers are still in search of fresh talent.

“We are constantly searching for new players, but now that we have a few players on board and the squad is a little bit deeper, it has relieved some of the pressure on us,” Lingard stated.

This is the first time we have been able to do that, but we have had to leave a few people off the squad.

“We’re still searching for this season and the one after that. Discussions are still going on.

Sam Eseh, one of those new additions, will miss a week of action due to an injury he sustained on Thursday during the Tigers’ captain run.
