Nottingham Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White posted a three-word reaction on Instagram as the Reds were held to a draw by Luton. After the game, he received some wordless replies from Nico Dominguez and Anthony Elanga.
Gibbs-White has been back in the starting line-up for the last two fixtures. He was handed a little rest from the starting eleven when Forest played Brentford earlier this month.
Technically, Gibbs-White is brilliant; the challenge is to get the player into areas where he can trouble the opposition and on the right-wing yesterday, he very rarely did that. Nevertheless, the fan favorite did play a part in both goals. He linked up well with Elanga on both occasions, and Gibbs-White will hope to score more goals and assist as the season progresses. Elanga and Dominguez mention to Gibbs-White that Morale appears to be performing well in the Forest locker room. Moments like yesterday, though, won’t help the Reds in that regard because they let a two-goal lead slip away.
Dominguez posted on Gibbs-White’s post first. He simply put two emojis; one of a wand and another of a flame to suggest that he was on fire during the draw.
Elanga looks to be linking up well with Gibbs-White at Forest. He posted a fingers crossed emoji on the back of the forward suggesting that the Reds team will keep working.
Forest have to improve their fortunes and fast. They’re sliding down the Premier League table at an alarming rate and now face four games against sides competing in Europe on the bounce.
