Duke Basketball Huge Recruit Set To Visit UNC

Caleb Wilson, a target for Duke basketball, will watch the Blue Devils and Tar Heels play next month.

Caleb Wilson, a forward at Holy Innocents Episcopal School (Ga.), has been on UNC’s wishlist since May and has had an offer from Duke University since July. Additionally, his father told recruiting insider Adam Zagoria on Wednesday that he would be present at the Tar Heels’ Smith Centre on February 3 for the team’s first game against the archrivals this season.

Whether the 6-foot-10, 205-pound five-star will be making an official or unofficial visit to UNC that weekend is still up in the air.

Wilson, who is ranked No. 4 overall in the 247Sports 2025 Composite, has already visited Stanford, Auburn, and Kentucky on official visits. He hasn’t ruled out the Blue Devils from his recruiting, but there’s no word yet on any plans to visit them in Durham.

Seven additional five-star prospects are included in the 2025 Duke basketball offer sheet, which hasn’t seen a commitment or rejection: guards Cayden Boozer, Meleek Thomas, Brayden Burries, and Jalen Haralson; and forwards Cameron Boozer, Koa Peat, and Nate Ament.

Peat and the Boozer twins are the only players the Tar Heels and Blue Devils have targeted for 2025, along with Caleb Wilson.
