Exclusive: Leeds, Wolves & Southampton make moves to sign teen goal machine

Wolves, Crystal Palace, Leeds United and Southampton are among the clubs chasing Northern Ireland teenage sensation Jack Hastings, sources have told Football Insider.

With 20 goals this season, the 17-year-old striker has the attention of four English teams who have expressed interest in a possible deal.

Hastings has drawn attention with his outstanding results this term at the Under-18 and Under-20 levels.

Having regularly trained with the Larne first team, he made his senior debut in the Irish Cup in January, but he is currently on the fringes of the team.

The Northern Ireland Under-17 international participated in three Under-17 matches for his nation in March as they qualified for the European Championship.

As they consider moves for Hastings, scouts from Wolves, Palace, Leeds, and Southampton have visited him on a regular basis.

As they consider their options, scouts from Wolves, Palace, Leeds, and Southampton have visited Hastings on a regular basis.

Iain Dowie, director of football at Larne, has made former team Crystal Palace aware of Hastings’ potential, and the Northern Irish team is now expecting offers for the gifted teenager.

The 17-year-old is capable of playing both as a front-two player and as a lone forward.

English teams are showing interest in several Larne youth players before the January transfer window, including Hastings.

In the Premier League, Wolves and Crystal Palace are ranked 13th and 15th, respectively.

Leeds and Southampton, on the other hand, have a reputation for developing outstanding young players and are competing for promotion in the Championship.

In other news, Wolves are vying to sign the sensation from Ligue 1.
