Just before 9 p.m. on Sunday, emergency personnel were dispatched to the town’s Culzean Crescent due to reports of a car fire.
When firefighters arrived on the site, they used one appliance to put out the flames.
“We were alerted at 8.41pm on Sunday, March 24 to reports of a car on fire at Culzean Crescent, Kilmarnock,” a spokesman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service stated.
“One fire appliance was mobilised by Operations Control, and firemen put out a single car fire.
